We would like to share some important information about characters on the Reclaimer shard.
As part of our continued commitment to data privacy, we will be clearing out our Reclaimer database of characters from accounts that have been inactive for over 2 years.
These characters will therefore be scheduled for deletion.
Keeping your characters is as simple as logging into RIFT within the next 45 days.
What is Reclaimer?
Reclaimer is a special shard for both EU and NA regions, where characters from closed shards can be found. These shards include characters from Hailol, Faeblight and Seastone for NA, and Bloodiron for EU.

I am an active player, and I have characters on Reclaimer, will they be deleted?
No, if you are active, your characters on Reclaimer will remain untouched; the character deletion only applies to accounts that have been inactive for more than 2 years.
I haven’t logged in for over 2 years, are my characters on Reclaimer at risk?
Yes, should you have not logged in for more than two years, your characters on Reclaimer will be scheduled for deletion. Simply logging into RIFT will prevent their deletion.
I have no characters on Reclaimer. Are any of my characters at risk?
No, characters on active shards are not scheduled for deletion, regardless of whether you are an active or inactive player.
Is there a deadline?
Yes, if you haven’t logged into RIFT for over 2 years, you must log in by September 11, 2026 to prevent the deletion of your characters on Reclaimer.
Please note that, after the deadline, the Reclaimer shard will remain available; therefore, characters on active accounts can still be recovered past the deadline.
