Character Restoration now available!
Hello there!
It’s been a while since your cherished characters were stuck on a closed shard, but finally, we can reunite you with them!
Below you will find all the information required to request a character restoration from a closed shard; we strongly recommend reading this carefully and in its entirety!
Where can I request a character restoration?
Character restorations can be requested through our Customer Support portal.
Please ensure that you are submitting a ticket with the email address where the characters you wish to recover are located!
Further, to facilitate and expedite character restorations, please create a ticket with the subject line “Closed Shard Restoration”.
We’d also like to ask that you do not make multiple tickets for a single account. Our support team will do their best to get to your request as soon as possible!
Which shards can characters be restored from?
Characters can be restored from the following shards:
– Seastone (NA)
– Hailol (NA)
– Faeblight (NA)
– Bloodiron (EU)
Where can my characters be transferred to?
Characters can only be transferred within their relative region (i.e.: Faeblight to Deepwood, but not Faeblight to Typhiria).
Our Customer Support team will transfer characters by default to the shard Laethys for NA, and Brisesol for EU, unless a specific destination shard is requested.
What will not be transferred?
The following will not be transferred:
– Any unclaimed and unread mail
– Any active or expired auction
– Guild and its guild bank
– Shard vault
Is there any information I would need to know while the transfer is ongoing?
Here are a few key points we would like to make you aware of before and while the character/s are transferring:
– The transfer time per character may take ~1 minute, with characters with more progression possibly requiring longer.
– Once a character has successfully arrived at the destination shard, the character will need to be renamed. Please note that our support team will not reserve character names or free duplicate ones should the original name already be taken.
– While the transfer is ongoing, the destination shard will be temporarily locked for the user until the transfer is complete, during this time, the destination shard will be unusable.
